These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Pair, operated by RODE (Orine Bason) (“Pair,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Pair application and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Pair. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- You may connect with one partner to form a shared space. Content in that space is shared with your connected partner.
- Notify us promptly at support@rodeteam.org of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, harassing, or harmful;
- attempt to access another user’s account or data, or any couple’s shared space you are not part of;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service;
- misuse the AI features or attempt to extract underlying systems or data.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (links, text, photos, drawings, messages, listings). By using the Service, you grant Pair a limited license to host, store, process, display, and share that content as needed to operate the Service — including sharing it with your connected partner and processing links with AI to organize them. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
5. AI features
Pair uses automated and AI-based processing to organize content (for example, suggesting a category, title, tags, and summary for a link you paste). AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming anything before relying on it. Pair is not responsible for decisions you make based on AI suggestions.
6. Bookings and third-party services
Pair may surface links to third-party booking or reservation services. Pair does not make reservations on your behalf and is not a party to any transaction between you and a third party. Availability, pricing, bookings, and fulfillment are the responsibility of the third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
7. Calendar and connected accounts
If you connect Google Calendar or other accounts, you authorize Pair to access and use that information as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.
8. Fees
The Service is currently offered free of charge. If paid features are introduced in the future, we will describe pricing and billing terms before you are charged.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, logos, and branding (excluding your content), is owned by Pair and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, the rights granted to you end, and provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pair and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed 100 USD.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pair from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as appropriate. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Tel Aviv, Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
